The Åland Geocaching Association is going big and hereby invites geocachers from near and far to the first major geocaching event ever organized in Åland. Over the course of a weekend, you will have the opportunity to discover the beautiful maritime town of Mariehamn, surrounding islands, vast beaches, rugged cliffs, historic sites, and stunning views. Whether you arrive by plane, car, boat, bicycle, or on foot, we hope to meet you at what could be Åland's first MEGA event!

Despite its small size, Åland boasts an impressive array of geocaches—ranging from diverse cache types and terrains to varying levels of difficulty. There is something here for everyone, from beginners to experienced geocachers.

On compact Åland, you are never far from a fellow geocacher. Encounters, a sense of community, and new friendships become a natural part of the adventure.
